PAINTINGS

Amber’s paintings combine original geometric designs, largely based on Golden Ratio 1:618 (phi), and free fluid lines. The artworks can be related to a choreographic structure where the geometry mirrors rhythmic structures and spatial pathways, while the fluid lines mirror free expressive contemporary movement or the narrative.

Amber Studied Abstraction Painting under professor Edwin Bohatch at the Academy Of Fine Arts in Vienna, Austria. There Amber explored both classical painting technique as well as concepts around abstraction. Also dancing and choreographing professionally at this point, Amber explored combining painting and dance, in particular, live painting with performance.

Many of Amber’s themes deal with metaphysical concepts, self-awareness, sound-waves, and relationship to environment.
